Have you ever wondered how it is- activist, believers in change - tend to say things which inevitably, come true? Even to the point of predicting their deaths? I hate the idea of starting such a research, so I'll mention this one, because his song resonates with the feelings of many who are oppressed.

 Sam Cooke, after standing up for his rights as a human , pinned the song, "A CHANGE IS GONNA COME" a bold move during the struggle for equal Civil Rights. I am not surprised that he was brutally murdered a few months after his stand for equality. This month, my plan is to slant into the minds of America and the world, I am Black 365 days of the year. Worthy of recognition beyond the 28 days, deserving applause everyday-along with the other races and faces of America. We need to get beyond those minimum days, week, or month of recognition for other ethnicities.
