You wanna know what I really like about Indieland? Sample Sunday. What a helluva trip. I can sit around, lounge by the pool and follow my twitter peeps around the net to some of the best sites for samples of awesome, jaw dropping writing. On Sample Sunday, I can laugh at all of the haters and naysayers of the independent and self-published authors, because their fear of the unknown (not yet 'big' name ) writer keeps them from trying something new. I can read bits and pieces of writers the world is too afraid to taste.
Today, I say, throw off your blinders, tap in the word #SAMPLESUNDAY and take a wondrous trip to Indieland. I promise, it will make your day. My contributions to samplesunday are all over this page.

Wow, Ey, I couldn't agree more with your post here. There are many that talk about the self-published author, but to me, we have more balls than anyone just for the mere reason, we dared to take hold of our dream, instead of waiting on someone to tell us our writing is worthy. Would I like to be picked up by a traditional publishing house, of course, what author doesn't, but it's nice to do it all on my own. I'm all about that. Great post!
