I've wassailed a lot of people so far and if you have missed any, this is the portrait of great sites.
Before we start let’s have a little history on the wassailing as provided through Wikipedia.
The House-Visiting wassail, very much similar to caroling, is the practice of people going door-to-door singing Christmas carols.
Our wassailing days are numbered people and coming to and end. Sometimes I can't tell you why I follow a person or just enjoy reading what they right. I just feel a connection and flow with it. Today I'm wassailing Debbie Ridpath Ohi. follow Debbie on twitter at both of her persona inkyelbow & ipadgirl. I enjoy the twits and the information I receive. She's a writer and illustrator, something I aspire to be....enough said.
Bring out the pad and pencil Debbie cuz Here We come a-Wassailing.

I hope you have been following me as I have gone a-wassailing to blogs and websites I find inspiring, funny, educational or plainly a must read. Today I'm wassailing Precious Williams. I first started following Precious on twitter because of link I followed detailing the problem she was having with a stalker. Once I was on her site and read an excerpt from her book I astounded. I learned foster care across the waters are nothing like in America. I admire the fortitude and positive attitude that remains with her after an outstandingly tragic childhood. From her memoir we can learn a lot from our misconception of race and the strength the causes us to continue striving for better..
Feel the love Precious cuz: Here We Come A-Wassailing
http://www.preciouswilliams.com/
Precious Williams's first book, Precious, A True Story, published by Bloomsbury in August 2010, is a memoir about growing up in trans-racial 'private foster care'. (A US edition, titled Color Blind, is published by Bloomsbury USA). Precious's story has been featured on Sky News and BBC Radio 4 Woman's Hour and in the Daily Telegraph & the Guardian. Her memoir was also serialized in The Times and featured as a People Magazine "Great Read," a Sunday Times "Must Read" and Elle Magazine's "Recommended Read" for August 2010. A German translation of the book, titled Farbenblind, was published in October 2010. Since then she has been a Contributing Editor at Elle, Cosmopolitan and the Mail on Sunday's 'Night & Day' magazine. Precious's work has also been published in The Times, Marie Claire, the Sunday Times Magazine, the Daily Telegraph, the Guardian, the Financial Times, Glamour, Korean Vogue, New York magazine, Wallpaper and several other publications. Her journalism focuses on health and lifestyle features and celebrity interviews. (words from http://www.preciouswilliams.com/ )

Precious (the book) is the memoir of Precious Williams.
Both books tell the story of a London-born daughter of a Nigerian princess raised by an elderly white woman in an English housing project. The picture one on the right is the American cover.
No hoops, no gimmicks, no sign ups. Who doesn't want a free gift?
This is a multi-media book produced with you and your family in mind. What better way to show the Christmas spirit than with a book which celebrates the unity and fortitude of all Americans.
Merry Christmas. Just click on the picture to go to site and download.
People, I'm still a-wassailing. Beginning to feel a little alone out here from the lack of comments, though. Oh, well sometimes we all feel as if we walk alone. Today I decided to wassail someone I like to think travels the same path. Motivational speaker, educator Jamaal Brown.
Jamaal thought that sports would be his ticket to fame, fortune and a better life for his family. Unfortunately he was diagnosed with a rare heart condition. He literally found myself going from the basketball court to an operating table at the age of thirteen (13). He began reading books about the contributions African Americans have made worldwide. In the year 2000 he graduated as his high school’s first-ever African American Valedictorian.
Jamaal began to see himself in the pages of world history. His experiences led him to uncover a wealth of knowledge regarding lesser known individuals, instances and ideas in African American history that captivate all audiences.
If you really want to know about Jamaal Brown you should visit his About page. The testimonials are too awesome and too numerous to list. To learn more of the topics he speaks on visit this page.
Can be contacted as a speaker at Email
Visit his Youtube page.
Have you ever had to rethink the look of your blog or web page? Well, last night was my night. It took me a while to reformat and change the page and I'm excited to share.
As I worked on my blog page
I thought, why not wassail myself. And since it's the middle of December and we've cheered a few people with our wassailing (at least I think we did... no one threw eggs in our faces) I just figured, why shouldn't I get a little wassailing cheer?
Anyway feel free to visit or revisit the previously wassailed blogs (30 days), buy some sweets from my favorite shop Mel Mellis and congratulate vainbuthonest on her success in graduating from college by visiting her Etsy site.
Please leave a comment or tick a reaction.
There are a few more days left in December & I'm still a-wassailing. Today I'm feeding fish at M.Kathy Brown's blog.
http://www.ponderdeeply.blogspot.com/
I first 'met' M. Kathy Brown on the website Shewrites and from there I visited her blog- Pond-er Deeply which is outstanding. Maybe because I like the colors, her quote "I write with the belief to both inspire and challenge the human experience, welcoming criticism, for there is no person on earth who fails to intrigue me, and thereby touches my soul in some significant way " and the fact her profile as a free-spirit is intriguing. I also like the idea that she is a writer who gladly accepts criticism of her writing as a stepping stone to growth. I admire her for the role she has taken in caring for her mother. Take a tour on over, feed the Koi, and give a little wassailing cheer.

It's Monday, some people live for the holiday gloom so....we're wassailing at the unemployment office.
What's the use in having over thirty years of experience in your professional field, be nearly half a century old and unable to find a job paying more than two hundred a week because you're considered too old and too experienced?
The world is run by young idiots who obviously believe they will never grow old or have too much experience.
That's my gloom for the season.
I hope you have been following me as I have gone a-wassailing to blogs and websites I find inspiring, funny, educational or plainly a must read.
Two sites I admire for the purpose they have chosen to pursue are Reads for Pleasure and Color Online. These blogs like White People Meet Black Authors are doing their best to bring to light books written by people of color. It may not seem like a big deal to some people, but segregation in bookstores and whitewashing in the publishing industry (The Book Smugglers did a great post on this Cover Matters-on Whitewashing) is devastating to the authors of color and a loss to the reading community. We have to realize books as well as life is written in more than black and white.
The fireplace is lit, hot chocolate in the cup and waiting. Show me the best books to read you two cuz: Here We Come A-Wassailing"
http://www.reads4pleasure.com/

You may not be joining and having the fun I am, but I'm still a-wassailing. Today I'm doing a three-for and visiting three queens I follow on twitter. Dust off that star you three cuz: Here We Come A-Wassailing".
http://slushpilehero.wordpress.com/
Using the robot (from Futurerama) as avatar @slushpilehero (my hero in more ways than she can imagine) was the first person I saw when I began using twitter, I was enthralled by the name and the quick and funny twits she wrote. Without a doubt I knew she would be entertaining and informative. Oh, my God was I ever right. I visited her website and was pulled in completely by her writing. At the time she was a struggling writer and now she is about to become the outstanding published author she deserves to be. Though we have never met I am really proud of and very happy for her. Known in the real world as S. S. Michaels she is represented by Mark McVeigh of The McVeigh Agency. She used to work in film and television (Scott Free, Dick Clark productions, inc., CBS)
Here webpage , Slush Pile Hero features the funniest interviews with authors such as Jeremy C. Shipp (whose clowns scare the twisted balloons right out of me) and so many others you must go over and check them out for yourself. Read some of her short stories, especially Humana Planet and get a thrill and spread some Christmas spirit.
http://www.twitter.com/EisleyJacobs
From eavesdropping on slushpilehero's twitter conversations I started following Eisley of Eisley's Ellipses where more of her fascinating life is revealed. We have somethings in common. She home schools (my home-schoolers are now college age, about to graduate and a graduate), we care for other's children, and we are writers. Eisley is a YA/middle grade author. In January she will be releasing an ebook Dragons Forever and by the 1st of February or March the book will be in traditional form. Go on over and treat Eisley to a little wassailing. She shares great information on her vlogs,I'm a little envious of her Ipad.
Follow Eisley on twitter. or Facebook
http://www.twitter.com/jterzieff
I follow @jterzieff on twitter because I found out the serious side of her from her twitter convo with Eisley, but I was also able to see how humorous she could be. On her site Juliette Terzieff I learned she is the author of hundreds of articles and presentations on human rights, international politics, globalization and development.Terzieff is also a prolific public speaker. Her speaking topics relate to the role of business in human rights, women’s and children’s rights, human trafficking, child labor, American politics, international relations and cross-cultural understanding. I just love what she stands for. Honesty, integrity, fairness, and the belief in the human spirit.
Remember to leave a simple holiday cheer with a small comment or just a hello. Also, make my day & leave one here.
When it comes to wassailing and caroling there are no songs I would rather hear than these. They just says it all. Don't forget to visit the sites mentioned on the 30 days of wassailing blog tour at http://wade-inpublishing.blogspot.com and share the Christmas spirit.
We've been a-wassailing for eight days now and I'm feeling the baking spirit. Instead of swiping Santa's cookies, we're visiting one of the best bake shops. Put out a dish Mhia cuz: Here We Come A-Wassailing".
What better way to go a-wassailing than straight to a sweet shop? I may have mentioned it before but I love an Etsy shop run by Mhia
The cookies, this girl makes are totally mouthwatering and eye appealing. Mhia began her business at the age of sixteen when she entered college in the culinary field. an aspiring Pattisere. She considers herself to be an I really admire youth who thrive to take their future into their own hands. These are just a few of the deliciousness that can be bought from Mel Mellis. Let's wassail on over there and spread some Christmas cheer. Maybe we'll be enticed to get a few of those luscious treats.
Mhia can be found at her blog melmellis.blogspot.com and followed on twitter.
Here are a few samples of the goodies :
I'm sure by now you know the history of wassailing as provided through Wikipedia and that it is the practice of people going door-to-door singing Christmas carols. Well today we're going to be outside of John T. Wills'
door. Listen for us caroling outside your doors John cuz: Here We Come A-Wassailing".
http://www.justaseason.com/
I was really excited when I fell across John T. Wills’ page Thought Provoking Perspectives. Just the title of the page made me want to visit it. His topics really made me think and yet it seems as if his personal opinions are not forced on you. From there I followed his links to his other site John T. Wills Chronicles where there are a constant flow of timely interesting articles.
John T. Wills is a Speaker, Author, Professor/Teacher, Radio Host, member and past officer of several Business/Community/College Board’s, a Volunteer, and friend to many. Regardless of the worldly titles given, John prefers to be called a man.
I love the fact Mr. Wills is in the mindset to promote other authors regardless of race and without cost to them.I implore you to visit his sites and take time to listen to his author interviews.
John T. Wills is a man who believes education is the single most important ingredient necessary to neutralize those forces that breed poverty and despair. This philosophy planted the seeds that cultivated a life, which is "Just a Season" - the novel.
His favorite quote-I only have a minute. Sixty seconds in it. Didn't chose it, can't refuse it, its up to me to use it. It's just a tiny little minute but an eternity in it. You can change the world but first you must change your mind.... Made a gigantic impression on me. I have always believed a single person can make a giant change whether it benefits or hinders success. Mr Wills strives to make a change in the positive. Join me in sharing a little Christmas cheer and wassail on over.
I'm sure by now you know the history of wassailing as provided through Wikipedia and that it is the practice of people going door-to-door singing Christmas carols. Well today we're going to be outside of Luke Romyn's door.
Luke is one of the funniest (maybe the funniest) people I follow on twitter . He can also be followed here and here on Facebook.
http://lukeromyn.com/
At the moment Luke has a petition to @TheEllenShow at http://act.ly/2i7 to get himself and a fellow member of Tribe Literary Agency@ceebee308on the Ellen Show.
I think this would be awesome to see a writer I'm 'friends' with on my favorite show.
http://lukeromyn.com/
His first book, THE DARK PATH (I know.... the cover is awesome, right), is now out and became a #1 best selling Horror. It was voted in the Top Ten Horror novels of 2009. His second novel, BLACKLISTED, is almost set to go and will blow the roof off action thriller novels.
Luke Romyn worked in the security industry throughout Australia and internationally for many years. He's been the protector in guarding doors in clubs, protecting Mickey Mouse and the Disney crew, provided close protection for UK celebrities in Fiji to chasing feral pigs and snakes out of the jungle film sets on Steven Spielberg's and Tom Hank's epic: The Pacific.
Luke writes the best short stories, some which can be read on his site, The Choice is one of my favorites. He is always interested in interview requests, promotional opportunities, and visitors to his site. Go on over and spread a little Christmas cheer by leaving a small comment.
I'm sure by now you know the history of wassailing as provided through Wikipedia and that it is the practice of people going door-to-door singing Christmas carols. Well today we're
Jingle Bells Karra cuz: Here We Come A-Wassailing".

For those who love the crafty and the beauty of handmade items follow me in wassailing and ringing bells in front of ‘Ylaine’s’. An Etsy shop owned by Karra or‘vainbuthonest’ as she is known on twitter. says:
As a kid, I always wanted to be an artist and sewing is my medium. I believe everything I make is a wearable piece of art and I strive for perfection with each one. Each piece brings a little happiness into my day and I hope it does the same for you.

The items in her shop are beautiful and of course designed and made by her own little hands. My favorite is the, “The Neverending Scarf”.which can be worn through all of God’s given seasons.
As a fashion/design major Karra also extends her design capabilities to her HOME SWEET HOMEblog where gorgeous pictures of homes and their interior can be viewed.
Okay, fingers on keys....get to wassailing. Don’t forget to leave the gift of a small comment here and there.
"Within America's history-“I feel that we, as Americans, are all equal and held together by a common thread. Like a treasured beaded necklace of different colors, held together on a string, we are held together by our necessities and our circumstances and our humanity. Every color helps to make the necklace beautiful. We can never be a totally separate entity! Americans of all colors are so integrated that if we hurt one, we hurt all. Just like that necklace of treasured beads- leave one out and the gap is seen. Break the chain and many of us are lost.” What do you believe?
